it is a very amazing car. i was shocked at how well it did and how easy it made it look. next car i want to see go around the track is the lexus is-f, that should do well.

There are only 5 other cars on the list that are cheaper than it. Of those 5 only 1 is street legal in the US. Of those 5 only 2 have airconditioning and a radio in them. Of those 5 only 3 have a roof or fenders.

And those that do have a radio and airconditioning (and other comforts) are slower than the GTR!!!

The 5 I refer to:
Corvett
EVO
ATOM
Prodrive
TVR

The corvette is the only one that is legal in the US. And its 3 seconds slower. And that is ALOT on a short track like this!!!

lol. I dunno what I was thinking. While I was watching it... I assumed the first "price" I heard was in Brittish pounds so I Google Converted 52k and it got me 103k USD.

Was probably too busy drooling over the car to really listen carefully.

 

You heard correctly. But when they sell the car in the UK and the US they dont just choose a price for the UK and convert it to the US. That would make everything way to expensive for us.

The US msrp is $69,850




Somethng else to look at is HP. I am the one that researched all those numbers. I should have done weight. The GTR is one of the heavy cars on the list and has EVERY commodity of a daily driver. yet not nearly as much power as the majority of cars. Thats pretty impressive.

When the spec v comes out it should be a stripped down version drop a few hundred pounds and be insanely fast. I cant imagine what this car will do once some one really strips out all of the creature comforts!!!

Now if you could only the GTR for 70K it would be great.

 

Actually mark up has only been around 5k from what I have read on GTR forums.

Unfortunatly there are about 5 of them already totalled

 

But compare that to the other cars on the list. The atom has seen 100% mark up. The zo6 has seen insane mark up. And the new ZR1 vet or whatever its called will cost around 200K!!!!
