Honda FIT is gonna destroy the xA and Yaris!!!!!!!
The Honda Fit's about to whoop some ___. Its innovative Magic Seat system makes the xA's interior obsolete (tons more room, same size exterior) and it doesn't have center guages (the main reason I didn't buy an xA).
And Toyota dropped the ball on the Yaris. No one's gonna buy a Yaris with 2 doors. A car of this size demands 4 doors because it's small enough and difficult to get it as it is, and I am only 5' 10", medium build.
I wanted to do business with Toyota, but Honda's outdone them this round.

I haven't driven a Fit yet, but I wouldn't mind owning a 5-speed in white (Premium? Taffeta?). It would be fun and easy to mod. A set of Spoon SW388s (or Rota Slipstreams? ), coilovers, CF hood, Spoon steering wheel and shift ****, Spoon N1 exhaust...then I have an Enduro Racer!

The Honda Fit is a nice car but I they left out a couple things that come with the JDM and UK model. This includes mirror mounted turn signals, steering wheel mounted audio controls, disc brakes, LED tails, CVT-7, ...

Umm, I don't think Toyota or Scion have anything to worry about when it comes to the Fit. Have you seen a Yaris sedan in person? That car is pretty awesome, especially in S trim. I think that, if anything, the only thing Toyota or Scion have to really worry about is each other.

It's a freakin' 60% scale model soccer-mom brat hauler!
Good god, that's just sad. Look at the Honda site and see how they're trying to be like SCION - all hip and cool wit da kidz...
Nice try, but Honda - and I've owned nothing but Honda motorcycles - is a button-down corporate entity that has little of the wild spirit needed to dethrone the SCIONs.

I think the FIT will do well actually. Not a fan of the two-door Yaris....kinda looks like a stink bug....
The 4-door Yaris is going to sell like hot cakes....good looking, nice interior, proven powertrain and roomy to boot.
I'm not quite sure what Toyota was thinking with the two-door Yaris.....that car will never make it in the U.S.

Pricing will be a big factor...does anyone know what they are supposed to cost? At this point with gas prices and what not alot of people could care less what it looks like, its about MPG and price and atleast at the dealership I go to I hardly see any young people buying scions, its mostly mpg/money consensus older folks.

The Fit is ugly, its the most retarded looking sub-compact this side of the echo.
I'd take a yaris thank you and the incredible amount of Japanese aftermarket PERFORMANCE support (and nice body kits) that come with it.
If they make a Nismo version of the Versa, that looks like the concept they had shown (with the performance to match), that'd be nice too. The sedan version is butt ugly though
Of course if i just wanted to move people then it'd be the xA
