heavy fill? Do you mean feel or something? It's thick, high quality soft leather. . .
Not that I dislike the german's preference, but you'll notice that BMW leather is a big more coarse, with a rougher grain and a tougher texture. A bit sportier, but a little less comfortable (in the luxury sense). MB leather is about halfway between the two. You'll notice that the textures on the doors of MB and BMW is quite hard. . . not at all too dissimilar to the plastic doors on my xA. True, they are premium materials, but they are hard as hell. Touch the inside of a Lexus, and it's like being stuffed into a giant goose down comforter.
Having had owned (or family owned) all three, I speak from experience. Want sporty? Go german. Want a luxurious interior you fall asleep in. . . go Lexus. Of course, the IS300 is an exception (it tries to mimic the Germans).
Only one other brand comes close (IMO) in interior quality (at least by feel) and that'd be Audi.
It may be quite possible to swap in some Camry XLE seats, or perhaps some ES300/330 seats. Will they match your interior? Probably not. . . but they will be comfy. Even the seats in the Toyota Highlander Limited are so close to the RX300 seats, it's down right not cool. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same ones. . .

Go to Macy's, Nordstrom's, or any other nice store, and check out the women's leather jackets. There should be a few nice and soft ones (but usually thin).
But are you looking for raw material or just the leather? There are few brands that come close, if you're talking about other auto manufacturers. Audi comes close. . . and that's all that comes to mind.

i'm thinking about putting in leather in my tC and i can get a good deal on Katskin but it's not as soft... since i do like the Lexus leather, I thought i'll try to find something very very similar

I think they have the standard leather on the ls430...
but still, it was good to go. I can't even imagine what the upscale one is like.
I actually don't mind normal cloth seats...leather is a bit slippery, in my opinion, but it's definitely a must have for a luxury car.
