Man I love Twin Turbo's
Hey guys,
So I just picked up my new baby. Sold the Turbonetics Scion tC and got a BMW 335i.
First of all, the BMW is in a way different class ,obviously, so I'll keep the comparisons to a minimum.
The 335 is superior in every way except one thing. My Turbonetics equipped tC "feels" faster than the 335. It is clearly due to the slight lag in the bigger single turbo compared to the smooth power deliver of the twin turbos. Which by the way, get to full boost and torque @ 1500rpms!
The suspension on both the stock 335 and my upgraded tC are very similar. the tC was a bit tighter but rougher on smaller bumps. The 335 glides over this road imperfections.
The shifter feels a bit sloppy compared to the TRD shifter I had. Both have similar throw lengths.
But other than that, the 335 is one heck of a car. And now that computer upgrades are coming out for it, I can't wait to get 350whp and 390wtq!!!
All in all I really enjoyed the tC, I just thin I'll enjoy the 335 that much better.

they both work at the same time. The engine is an inline 6 cylinder. Each turbo gets 3 cylinders.
They are very small turbos which is why they can spool up so quickly but they run out of efficiency around 12 psi

not much. BMW is really strict on their modding/warranty stuff. They are real quick to pull cancel your warranty if they find stuff. I might do some new wheels and some body kit stuff.
The car is a low 13 second car so I don't think I'll do much.
