Might trade the Box in for a EVO IX or Mazdaspeed 3

the 05 no, and yes I know many a people with clutch problems, but mitsu seems to have resolved that by the time the 06 came around. To say that both 06's were perfect would be a lie, my silver had suspension probs which were fixed and my 06 electric blue ahd many quality control problems ie misalighned door etc but maybe thats just me lookign for every little problem.
oh yea and brake serivice is a b*&ch, find out how much it costs thatll be a factor EVENTUALLY many things will become a factor with an evo.
Thats why I love my xb, you dont have to be going 140 to reach its limits

ya it does a bit, I;m not going to lie but as beautiful as the car is it's not worth it if I'm not tracking it every weekend.
Its alot like those moms who have Ford excursions and only have one kid, or those who have hummers and only one kid, nothing more than impracticality and the need to have a p&ssing contest with eachother as to who has the biggest most expensive waste of space.
I use my xb to its fullest everyday unlike what my evo does
2 things I really do miss is seeing another evo owner on the street. No racing just ackowledgement.
and the TURBO spooling up, now if thats the only reason someone would buy an evo thats just stup*dity. You can go and buy an electronic WHOOSH noise and put it under the engine of the xb
If you are not going to keep the evo for LIFE or track it on the weekends you will be making a BIG mistake. The car just makes you look for tickets

You got a very good point. I plan to keep the EVO forever, but like in life you never know whats going to happen. I really wont race it at all. I just love the look of the car and the performance. I got the Box cause of the look of it and at the time I purchased it I was commuting 50 miles a day so it was practical for me to get and roomy enough to carry my kids around if I need it.
Since Ill be working from home and really wont use it that much as I did the Box,
Just to take out every once in a while, again the real car/truck will be wifeys car.
and since my wife can drive stick anytime I need it she can use my ride.
I think Im going with the EVO. Thanks for all that responded, gave me a lot to think about and dwell on for the future.
Thnks!
Once I get all the negotiating part done as far as financing Ill post some pics
later

I plan on keeping my tC and getting the EVO X once it comes out. You could just wait for that one too. It will obviously beat an EVO IX, otherwise Mitsu wouldn't even bother. Now I just hope I can get it with a regular 6 speed manual.
Mitus is also gonna release a 300 HP AWD Lancer, set to compete with the regular WRX. So if the EVO X proves to be too expensive, at least Mitsu will give us options.
