Default Is my dad's Avalon totaled?

Well, I was anxious to see what you guys had to say. My dad has a 1998 Toyota Avalon and got into a pretty bad accident tonight. I'm not sure what warrants a total, but most people say if the frame is bent? Can you guys give a guess based on these pics?

the right is the front of the car

no, it does not look totalled from what i can see.

however, depending on the condition of the vehicle, and how much it may cost to fix the car it can be totalled.

and damn, your driving a better car than your dad.

99, its over the 5 year time limit, if a car is over 5 years it takes over 100% of the value of said vehicle to total it, but it also depends on the insurance company, some say no frame work at all
