Default my new ride: genesis coupe already modified

so i traded in the scion tc after only two years of use mainly because i got the car automatic so that my wife could drive the car but ended up getting her another car. I fell in love with this car the first time i saw it drifting in the commercials and after 10 months of trying to get it it's finally mine. 3.8 v6 base model

following mods:
eibach lowering springs which were replaced with megan racing springs (did prototyping for them)
prodrive gc014i's forged monoblock 19inch rims weighing only 18lbs
nsII's
ark cfx carbon fiber grill
vis carbon fiber foglight bezels
weapon r secret weapon intake in neo chrome
muteki neochrome lug nuts
megan racing axleback (will be going in for mid pipe prototyping next week)

That is a sweet car man. Loving the color. How come you opted for the V6? The first 2 pics are from a carshow/meet? At first I thought it was a dealership. LOL

well i was looking at the turbo mainly because of price point but i ended up getting the v6 for an even better price (even cheaper than the turbo). also from what i've been reading on the forums the turbo is a good platform but at 400hp you already need to go with forged internals...the v6 can handle 500hp pretty reliably which is why rhys millen is racing with the v6 and not the turbo actually the carshow/meet was at a dealership puente hills hyundai to be exact they were promoting the genesis and what not but we lost all the spotlight when the gtr's rolled in lols

thanks man! i got it brand new but i got it at an amazing deal...i had a 2009 scion tc i was upside down on the trade a little over $3000 and i still got the car cheaper than MSRP taxes and license included.

thanks guys! well the stock exhaust already sounds like this so it's pretty hard to screw up...infact most people can't tell the difference between the megan racing exhaust and the stock one. i can only hear a slightly deeper tone in all honesty but difference is very slight

You mean like those commercials that are always on the radio? "Upside down in your car loan? We'll give you 6, 8, even 10,000 dollars more than your trade is worth! With the purchase of any new [insert car make here]!"

But really. I'm curious about how this works and if its a real benefit. I financed my first car, being the tC, and got raped. I was uneducated and should have thought more about what I was doing. So you were upside down on your tC loan and they paid it off because you bought a new car off their lot, is that right? You had to finance through the dealership?

Sorry about the 21 questions, I've just been thinking about this and I don't know many people who have actually done it themselves. Awesome pick on the car and it looks fantastic!

If I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I would love a Genesis more then my tC I would get one (the first major drawback is RWD in Colorado snow).
I love the Italian look that carried over from the Gen2 Tiburon.
