Hyundai has definately stepped their game up in many respects, but in my mind and MANY others it will always STILL be a Hyundai.

It's a nice car, it's put together well, it's got great pricing.

STYLE is an OPINION, in MY opinion it looks ok except for the front bumper, and the NASTY looking rear windows dipping below the cars hip line.

If I wanted cheap rwd I'd go 240sx, but that's me, or hey maybe a 3-5 year old well taken care of Z or g35.

 

you hit some valid points on alot of new car designs lately. the CRZ also has a weird belt line. but I bet the Gencoupes will change in time.

and remember this. the new Sonata has a 2.4l engine like the tC. but, it's 200hp with a 274 hp 2.0l turbo coming. you guys can't tell me this isn't intriguing in any way whatsoever. imagine cruisin along in your new tC with your fancy 6sp trans and you get smoked by, what might very well happen, a turbo Accent or Elantra.....yup, it's on the horizon. a faster car for way less money

 

A turbo sonata would be sick..that's definitely a nice looking car..love the interior.

 

I love those cars, just wish Hyundai could have stepped up to the plate and offered the 4.6 V8 as an option.

 

yeah the turbo sonata will be D.I. so i know tuning that car is going to be difficult but its amazing what hyundai's doing with these cars

 

direct injection means nothing. they will find a way...

omg I want a sonata so bad now haha that looks crazy..still would rather have the gen coupe though but..damn!

 

tC is kinda up there with Mitsubishi Eclipse. it's tryin real hard to compete with Civic Si's, but has the Cubs syndrome. just can't win...kids want an Si tho.

How do you feel about the backseat? Kind of a weird question but just wondering..I sat back their and felt like my neck was gonna break lol of course I'm about 6'1-6'2 so yeah..I noticed the backseat doesn't seem to slant down like it does in the tC

 

thats probably the only thing i don't like about the car is the back seat i'm only 5'8 and my head hits the rear glass on bumpy roads. back seats are good for kids and anyone 5'5 or below and having lower insurance rates compared to a two seater.

 

Yeah that was the only thing I didn't like either..otherwise I would have drove off the lot with one couple months ago after test driving a 3.8 track 6mt..that and I would get chewed out for weeks by a bunch of people for selling y tC right after paying it off lol

 

i'm not bashing. we owned one for 5 years. but you haven't checked the 2011 thread? some real haters there
