Got the car registered and smog today....finally lol
to celebrate I ordered myself some stance GR+ coilovers
so excited..I can't wait! Always wanted coils on my tC and never got around to it..so my first set of coilovers to...probably going to start taking the current suspension off the car sometime early next to get have it ready for the good stuff.

FML...finally get to tearing down the suspension..ugh..so many snags...
Wheels were torqued down WAY to tight..had to use like a 3 ft breaker bar to get the lugs off..one of the wheels was on so effing tight that I hit to hit the back of it with a hammer to get it off the hub.
And now the best part...need to get to behind the top to take out rear struts...ok..go to raise the top...and it suddenly decides (after working fine this entire time) it doesn't want to work..so now I have to figure out why the top won't come back up...-_-...

This is what the fronts looked like..lol won't be needing a spring compressor for these bad boys rears aren't as bad but I can still move the spring up and down on the strut.
Oh and the convertible top is just fine..apparently I'm just retarded and didn't know that the ebrake needed to be on...hahaha it's definitely been a learning experience!

murphys law - trust me that's exactly where they are going..that whole assembly is trashed..one of the rear struts actually has some rust on it..oh and the newspaper was my grandpas idea lol we have some cardboard under their to..can't see it in the pic though.
mostly got the haynes manual for help with the motor..was having trouble with the rear struts though but naturally what I needed wasn't in their -_-...not to mention I got it before I realized I had easier access to the FSM online..lol oh well
tctctc - as soon as i get the time to install these and figure out where the hell the rear strut tops are located i'll be taking pics lol I can't wait to get these on..not even necessarily for the ride height but now the car won't feel like I'm on a boat..I actually started getting nauseated when I drove it to get it smogged because it was so wavy/bouncy on the ride.

Coilovers are installed! I can still go somewhere between 1-2 inches lower and I am currently unable to get out of my driveway...exhaust got stuck and couldn't get the car to move lol I also have a steep and super ____ing narrow driveway but yeah..anyway before I raise it up a bit so I can drive it here ya go!

do you have a dip at the bottom of the driveway or is it a steep incline, if the exhaust hits just go with a dumped exhaust, a more freeflowing exhaust is better for the turbo anyways

it's just steep and super narrow. I angled the car the best I could without actually falling off the curb :/
I thought about getting an exhaust with smaller/no mufflers but I don't have the money for that right now. Oh and the car isn't turbo'd quite yet lol still have no idea on a lot of things I want to do with the car.

One thing I learned about rotories, the louder the better. Add headers to it and the power is like night and day! Stick with the rotary engine, depends what kind of port you do to the engine. Back in my Bridgeport days I used to shift at 12500 rpms. Loud motors but they make alot of power for a small motor......If you decide to turbo, it will be alot quiet! Another thing, they drink alot of gas, espically if you port the motor, but the power is unreal, with the sound!
