At least Nissan was smart enough to mirror-image the JDM rear door for the US market. Honda and Toyota didn't do that, and Jeep even mimicked their left-opening doors on the Liberty!

Love how the window seems to wrap around the rear of the car to the quarter side. Other than that... eh..

The cube is being displayed at work, and is a very nice car inside! Very spacious and not a bad design overall.

Our Nissan dealer hasn't received any yet. I really don't want to participate (and pay for) the "feeding frenzy" when the first ones arrive so I'm willing to bide my time. I need to get a look at a Kia Soul as well before I get out my checkbook.

We advertise for nissan/infiniti so we always get first look of all cars. Not bad at all.

um if you look at the websites with info on the cube for the us . and the pic of the cube that was on the 101 . it's the same car minus the switch from rhd to lhd and the swap of the rear hatch .

um yeah that's what's called a mid life cycle freshening . american cars do it all the time and none of it helps sales for crap .

and whether the front end differs it's not a new generation IMO i'd just call it the newer one . the cars chassis aka platform is the same or virtually the same .
