That is such a rip off..........lol
*laughs and points at americans who cant import used GT-Rs for less than $25k*

ok that wasnt nice.........sorry

But any way, yeah....see why its quite possible that the price of the new GT-R maybe way northward of $60k?

I don't know what everyone's surprise is. Yes it's going to be $70K+.

I don't know exact prices or anything, but apparently even the R34 was a ~$70K car in Japan. The kicker was that there's little market for used cars in Japan so you could go there and get a used GT-R at a very reasonable price. Especially R32 or R33s.

And yes you can import one to the US for around $100K. In my opinion that's stupid since you can import and swap an RB26 engine and RB25 transmission into a 240sx for an eighth of the price easily. Granted you don't have AWD or the ATTESSA system, but you have the "Godzilla" motor in a sleeper car (the S14 anyway).
