Default Nissan Sport, a hatchback in the right direction?

Here is a photo of the Nissan Sport, a car already in production in Japan and possibly aimed for the US. What do you guys think? More information here:

Wow! I'd be surprised if it makes it to the US looking like that.
Stunning...and very hi-tech looking.

perhaps firesquare is referring to the "stickers" that appear to be carefully placed in the LCD screen mid-dash? agreed that they look stupid, but they are obviously only temporary and the overall interior concept/design is as cool looking as the exterior.

I think those pics are still.. "concept" pics... If anything, they'll be "faux" exposed speakers.

thanks for the pull-out shot! agree on those speakers...they look similar to what i used to rock in my 1984 chocolate brown accord with rust primer and no fuel cap door. in other words, like crap.

but what i am REALLY worried about is what appears to be a CENTER BOLSTER in the passenger seat. um, huh/ow??

unless nissan's ergonomics teams has discovered some new way to enhance the driving experieince, that don't look so conducive to long days at the wheel...

totally. that's why i took out our aluminum momo shift **** and replaced it with the stock plastic one. turns out it sits about an 1" lower and feels better in-hand, too! change isn't always good.

I'd rock the ____ out of that.. I love how European looking it is. Very Renault, no?

Oh wait that's right.. that's because it is. It's being based on the Renault Megane platform.
