You'd probably draw a lot less attention from the highway patrol with that kinda paint job. . .
. . . but I'm sure you're insurance company would hate you.

Well, the it's going to be A LOT harder for other vehicles to see you on the road, with a grey camoflouge paint scheme. . . it's a reason why yellow vehicles have lower insurance rates than black ones.
The same goes for the CHP. Statistically, bright cars (like red or yellow as well) tend to be pulled over more often as they are more easily noticed. Statistically greyish/silver cars are pulled over less, as they blend in with the road.
I would assume a grey camo scheme to blend in even more. . . from a distance anyway

If it weren't for the fact that it was an otherwise very clean RX-7, it would probably have been keyed within hours of leaving the paint/vinyl shop. Pink camo is pretty horrendous.
The kit and the wheels are awesome though. . . and I'm sure there are som substantial mods under that hood.

Also...WHITE cars get pulled over more than any other color....WHY? Because there are more of them than any other color. Same goes for accidents. Yes, certain colors can be an issue as far as visual effects and not being seen, but in general, there are more white cars in accidents...only because there are more of them than others.
A statistic from an officer himself (in driving school...LOL).

Well, I know radar guns are colorblind, so that theory is out...LOL. I'm kidding of course...but nowdays, cops don't pull you over for speeding because you 'look' like you were...they have radar for that...and radar does NOT discriminate between colors.
My last post was using info from a cop in driving school, but it was years ago...like 10-15. the way paint has improved over the last few years, I would have to say that WHITE cars are not the major percentage of cars on the road, but I've been wrong before.
BTW...that VW looks awesome!

I agree in general, but wanted to clarify that you have to target avehicle when you use radar. . . therefore how much you stick out does come into play
