Default saturn problem

my brother has a 2004 saturn ion 2 and he has a starting problem with it. sometimes at random it will start and rev up high hell have to turn it off and start it up again the dealer claims they cant find a problem any ideas?

I would start with the ignition switch (electrical portion). They are known for their starting problems. The body control module is part of the passenger fuse box, is there any chance that could have been waterlogged? It may help you for your saturn repair questions. you might be best off taking all these modules in to repair shop to get checked out, if they can.
