Default Scion history lesson.

Here is a cool little article about the pre- launch of the xB and xA (?) dated 2002.

I knew I had to have the xB when I saw the bbX at the Moscone Center. I would love to have the bbX ground effects that's on it. I wonder where the ccX is now.

Always liked those JDM door panels over the USDM ones. Even scion knows that the black grills look hot.

it crosses my mind every once in awhile to build that kit, then I start thinking about the lack of time I already have...... it's nice, but I would modify it a little, the front lip carbon section needs to be toned down a little, it's to big. I also like the foglight detail on the bumper, the recess wraps around the side a little, completely nonfunctional, but a nice aesthetic touch.

Notice the dual beam headlights originally shown on the show car

The ccX was the prototype for the Scion "sports car".

They took the ccX to Toyota's special laboratory in Japan and carefully removed all the uniqueness and injected it full of their secret ingredient that makes the Camry so exciting and innovative, mixed in equal parts Paseo and Tiburon DNA and this is what was left over:
