Me too. The Fastback looks like it has a big forehead. That cargo thing is sweet!

ditto. I'll add that the Cargo looks more like the xB to me than even the t2B.

the yellow cargo t2b looks like a direct descendant of the open deck
one thing that still doesn't still well with me is the angle of the t2b windshield and those extra side windows up front by the a-pillar. i like the more upright look of the bB/xB

and if the concept does this too...

raúl...

i like the yellow T2B it looks better then the xb open back imo, and it kind of looks like a short pickup truck

I posted this in the big thread but I might as well put it here too. I ripped it from the presentation.

Is the CARGO just a 2 seater?
The Opendeck can seat 5, right?

A supercharged, all wheel drive, cargo would make it trade in time.

I like the angle of the windshield on the t2B, it keeps the front end from looking too much like a school bus.

It looks like the Cargo only seats two. I think it's a trade-off. You can have the 4/5 passenger Open Deck, which will hold virtually nothing in the tiny truck bed, or the 2 passenger Cargo which looks like it can actually be used for, you know, cargo. It reminds me a little of the Protege 5 pick-up that was done for an auto show.

Does anybody else think the t2B Fastback looks like the offspring of an xB and tC? If you think it looks like an Aztec, well, then you've probably never seen an Aztek up close. The size of the Aztek is one of the many things that make it ugly.

how bout a t2b mini truck

its kinda sloppy but i added a hood scoop, bigger headlight, extended front, extra fog light, and made it a 2 seater.

Nice looking, I really like the looks.

The thing I don't like though, is that both of them sacrfice interior space. The cargo model forgoes the roomy interior of the xB for a teeny tiny pickup bed of limited usefulness (are you going to put anything of value in an unairconditioned, insecure place?) and the "fastback" sacrifices interior room for the sake of looks.

The rest of it is beautiful though. If I had to choose, I'd go with the fastback and just hope the rear seats are still roomy.

More power would be great, as long as it can be done without hurting mileage.

The one thing that would really burn me, and I suspect it will happen, is the xB replacement will be more powerful AND more fuel efficient than the current model. Knowing Toyota it will be. They'll probably use a bigger engine (1.8?) and a taller final drive so it doesn't roar along at 4000 rpm @ 80 mph on the highway.

Damn Toyota and their constant improvements! LOL
