the yellow cargo t2b looks like a direct descendant of the open deck
one thing that still doesn't still well with me is the angle of the t2b windshield and those extra side windows up front by the a-pillar. i like the more upright look of the bB/xB
and if the concept does this too...

Does anybody else think the t2B Fastback looks like the offspring of an xB and tC? If you think it looks like an Aztec, well, then you've probably never seen an Aztek up close. The size of the Aztek is one of the many things that make it ugly.

Nice looking, I really like the looks.
The thing I don't like though, is that both of them sacrfice interior space. The cargo model forgoes the roomy interior of the xB for a teeny tiny pickup bed of limited usefulness (are you going to put anything of value in an unairconditioned, insecure place?) and the "fastback" sacrifices interior room for the sake of looks.
The rest of it is beautiful though. If I had to choose, I'd go with the fastback and just hope the rear seats are still roomy.
More power would be great, as long as it can be done without hurting mileage.
The one thing that would really burn me, and I suspect it will happen, is the xB replacement will be more powerful AND more fuel efficient than the current model. Knowing Toyota it will be. They'll probably use a bigger engine (1.8?) and a taller final drive so it doesn't roar along at 4000 rpm @ 80 mph on the highway.
Damn Toyota and their constant improvements! LOL
