Wow, looks like an xD after it got front and rear ended. The word "pugly" comes to mind. Don't try to round up a square car. Would be interesting to see what it would have looked like though if it kept the xB1 styling cues. xB coupe would have been nuts.

You guys would know Toyota would offer acessories for it too if it becomes Scion. LOL

But it looks like a baby xD that hasn't grown up yet.

November 2008 issue of AUTOMOBILE mag says the iQ will be a mid 2009 US release under the Scion brand. Also say it won't be cheap.

I own both an xA and smart and I think the iQ will be a big seller for Scion.

I read this the other day as well. I think this news should be in the "News Worthy" section.

Anyway, looks like a very interesting little car, and if I had the money, I'd buy one. I think it'll have a huge niche in the US market. Mind you it won't, per say, be a fun car, but with the 62 HP I-3 getting 56 MPG, whats not to like? I highly doubt Toyota would bring the little diesel across the waters, even though it'll make the car a bit more active.

Can't wait to see one buzzing around the streets
