No kidding. I thought maybe it was just the angles of all the pictures I'd seen before, but these new pictures show even more angles, and the car really isn't attractive. The only thing I can say about it is that it is awkward. I'll take a Soul.

We were told in school it's basically a Nissan Versa with the Cube body on top...

This one is just a "demo". No specific model yet. I think the price starts at around $16K? It should be on Nissan's website. The limited edition Cube Krome I think starts at $20K.

You have to see it in person. It's pretty sweet and drives NICE!

Does the non-symmetric rear bother anyone else?

I'm raelly NOT digging the back end with the wrap around, so far i ONLY think this looks good with limo tint in the back so you can't see the wrap around that much.... would MAYBE consider the krom version, in black, with the windows tinted like mad

Man! That thing is too damn cool looking. It makes the first generation xB look like a normal car now. Hahaha! (^o^ ) <3

It does have a "unique" look to it, and the Dali/Picasso styling does make even the xB Classic look "normal," I can't help thinking it looks a little TOO odd. The bB/xB Classic have no extra curves, lumps, weird swoops just for cuteness sake - there were really kind of extreme "form follows function" City Cars designed from the inside out - their shape simply follows the usable space it needed to enclose.

The US version of the current Cube, however, gives my mind a different image...

(Apologies to the original photog.)

Local Kia dealer has a bright red Soul in the lot - I may stop by just to look it over...
