Once its boosted, im going to go from the engine to the suspension and brakes (coilovers, sways, bigger brakes, ect).

After that then ill work on swapping the tranny out to the v160(6 speed TT tranny). Once thats in, i will up the boost and hopefully make close to 500whp. Then Ill go to wheels and wider tires.
It's funny, you have almost the same car and same plans as one of my friends haha. He has a red '97 Supra NA, looks exactly like yours but with an auto and no spoiler. He plans to go NA-T with the boostlogic stage 2 as well. He is also going to do the V160 swap.
yea man, that route is pretty common with the n/a supras. you can get them for alot less money and still make them faster then the stock tt for alot less money you can get the stock tt for.

Havent posted in a while but I thought I would update the status of my car.

The tC is back to stock and the Supra is Single Turbo:

Heres the Evolution of the supra so far.

At last decembers Annual Charlotte/concord Supra meet, took the wheels off the tC to dress it up a little bit, the offsets were off but it was better then the faded out center caps of my stock wheels.

Around April/May parts started coming in:

Idk if this should be moved now because its more about my supra then the tC. Ill let the mods decide that.

Very nice, I would love to find a good supra to build up. They are quickly turning into what the late 60 early 70 muscle cars were not that long ago.

God I love your supra. I would love one. Maybe when i pay off the tC i will search for one and sell the tC and buy a beater so I can buy the supra. But I am gonna move this to Off Topic other Car threads. Its a Supra thread now!

Thanks man. I bought the car with the intentions on boosting it, and exactly 1 year later Im boosted. Ill continue to update the thread as I continue to work on it. On the Mustang Dyno I tuned on I made 260 whp with 302lbs of tq. At 5.5 psi, dropping to 4.5 psi by redline because I am just on the wastegate spring. The dyno I was on always reads lower then other mustang dynos as well for some reason. My friends supra at one point made 385whp on a dyno jet. Went and added power, got on this dyno to tune and only made 355whp, just to give you an Idea on how the dyno reads. I left my Boost controller off because of my slipping clutch. If you watch my video of the dyno pull you will be able to hear how bad its slipping. Once I get a new clutch ill get more of the power and tq the car is making to the ground and Ill be able to raise the boost to 9 psi and hold 9 psi through redline. Id go higher then that by my Injectors are limiting me to that. Im hoping for mid-300's whp range on the stock injectors.

The car is a real fun car as it sits now even my clutch slips. Im happy with it and Ill be even more happy when I am able to raise the boost. Ill try and get some better videos and sound clips of it. The dyno pull was with a very crappy camera b/c thats all i brought.
