1991 Nissan Stanza - The pinnacle of Nissan Engineering. Had 320,000 miles on it and was running strong when I sold it to my neighbor who subsequently got it impounded by the police. Rather than pay 500$ in fines to get it back he let the police keep it. Beat the crap out of it, me, my brother and my girlfriend all learned how to drive stick on it. Spun in to a Jersery barrier at 50 mph during an ice storm, was hit and run by a stolen van in NYC, yet still ran like a champ. Maintainence consited of changing the oil and checking the tire pressure. Parked on the street in NYC and pretty much driven in to the ground. Yet despite the abuse it still rode and handled as tight as the day it left the factory.
Sold it because I got a good deal on mint condition 2001 Oldsmobile Alero. This collectors item met it's demise on Saturday afternoon when a lady in an Expedition forgot what pedal the brake was.
Typical GM quality, the lower intake manifold was leaking coolant in to the engine and needed to be replaced at 45,000 miles. Both front wheel hubs and speed sensors went at 50,000 miles. Brake pads every 20,000 miles. It got 29 mpg on the highway from a 3.4 liter 6 though.
sorry for the novel....I get sentimental over my past flames....

ya right, i wish i still had it. but when i got in trouble and got a state ref ticket (even though the judge dismissed the charges cause i know how to talk) they still made me get rid of it. although i must say, the car was probably red flagged at that point and if i got pulled over again i prolly would have gotten impounded. Still! they didnt have to make me sell it cause i could have just had a weekend/track car, cause i was all done pretty much. =( i miss her....

I still have my 97 integra w/ many mods. I need to sell it but hate going through the process. $6900, that would all be put to use on my tc. So I really should start trying, it be nice to have a turbo and rims on my new ride!

97' Land Rover Discovery (POS) bought it new and by 25K miles the throttle body started leaking coolant, driver's window motor dead. By 50K (in 2001) dead transmission, electrical problems galore, replaced engine etc.
Severly underpowered, so the transition to the xB was actually a boost to me.
(my 2004 box, Keiko, has 53K and the only problem was caused by me not putting a bypass on the CAI thus killing 3 MAF sensors in two days but corrected quickly)
