lancer ralliart vs. tc
My friend says his 06' lancer ralliart Would beat my tc. He said he has headers and exaust and, i have injen intake, mmw header and s-pipe, and magnaflow axle back. i think it will be a drivers race what do you guys think.

well idk what the hp is on a ralliart but one time a ralliart flew passed me and I tried to keep up but he just kept going couldn't catch him I coulda sworn he had turbo cuz he stomped on me whichsux depending on actual wheel horsepower then it'll prob b a drivers race good luck and don't get caught

it depends, what kind of race is it, curves or straight line?
straight line (drag):
it depends really, what do you have done to your cars? is it a stock to stock race? stock to stock, the tc may take the lancer. i have infact taken on one of them, but it wasnt just the two of us on the road. we were weaving in and out of traffic, and just so happens he got trapped behind two slow cars, and he eventually caught up to me but i still kept pulling. im an automagic too so it was surprising that i kept going. i did beat him.
with modifications i dont know who'd win, it would basically be a race between who has more mods and a little bit on who can drive it right
autox/track totally depends on you the driver
so i dont know, like icetc said, it may end up being a drivers race, definitely go to the track and find out get a time slip and everything atleast you'll have your proof of who won and who lost

Ok prepare your Nomex suits because I'm sure the "anti-racing *****" are about to pounce on this thread.
I'm not sure how the whole Lancer Vs. tC thing would pan out but the numbers are in favor of the tC in a straight drag:
tC: 161HP 162TQ 2907lb curb weight
Lancer: 152HP 146TQ 3032lb curb weight
Now stock for stock in a race that involved high/low speed corners, the Lancer has the advantage because its suspension is much better out of the box than the tC's. You would have to upgrade your suspension components to stay competitive.

I think i can take him in a straight line but ur right about their handling he would probly get me there.
He saig he bought an 05 TC and hated it he said they were weak and he had i/h/e on it before he sold it. I think it depends on what brand mods you have that makes more hp. Example; 4-1 headers or 4-3-2-1, or short ram intake or full lenghth intake and other combos of mods that depend on hp and tq.
Ive benn told by Gabe at Precision exhaust that the tc with mmw sr intake, mmw header and s-pipe and magnaflow axle back make an additional 25 hp at the wheel. If so than i should be able to take him, because ive got the same set up.
I will post again with the results and hopefully have video of the race.

Deffinatly going to say its a drivers race.
My buddy has one and when were were both stock, i ran a 15.5 and he ran a 15.7
I got him by a fender. Now you do have more bolt ons, but the MMW header will result in lower end tq loss. My conclusion?
From a roll in 2nd gear? YOU WILL WIN
From a dig? YOU WILL LOOSE
