For sure. With all that dust, it definitely was biased more towards street tires.

Well, I had a track day this past friday and broke my previous lap time. Ran 1:17.027 previously. New time is 1:16.746.

Towards the end of the day, I was at a little below half a tank and BOY was I hitting Fuel cut in turn 3. TICKS ME OFF! I need the PTuning fuel return setup w/swirl pot bad!

I hate fuel starvation, I have to run at least 3/4 of a tank to avoid it in autocross, Although it seems to be able to get by with less on the track.

What tires are you running now rhythm?

Here are some pics from an autocross last month or so, probably the last I will do on street tires unless it rains again.

I have been beating the crap out of that splitter too. Now I need a new support rod.

We had a double header this weekend. I placed well in my class despite having to deal with a swapped 89 civic with 275 hoosiers too. I miss not having in car video since I swapped my seats out I lost my camera mount

I really need a longer 2nd gear though 65mph is a must and its really starting to hurt my times. I cant decide if I want to try and raise the rev limiter slightly or take my chances with those camry gears. The only problem I can see with the camry gears is I might lose some corner exit power. Any input on this? The car is almost where I want it, so it should be an interesting season.

Oh and the team took another win this weekend!

Even though they try to start us at 20 second intervals, I would finish at the same time as that celica lol

This is what a $200,000 GT2 class m3 looks like in an autocross course. The thing weighs 2300lbs and makes 600+ at the wheels! He won.

One of my favorites, the thing is a beast!

Chris Dorsey's Corolla also wins a lot, he changed everything for this season, including moving the firewall back a foot.

For street tires I run Hankook R-S2's. For track I run Kuhmo V710's. The 1:17 was done on the same tires as the 1:16.

I think you will be good simply raising the rpms slightly. Did you utilize my splitter mounting points, or did you go with another solution?

I did use the mounting points you showed me, they worked very well but i still need to do the front ones.

How high do you think I could get away with the rev limiter? My engine is stock and will be running about 10psi. Also, could something like this
http://www.ptuningscion.com/subdir/i...niversal%20Fit
be used with my FIC to do it?

Kool, Kool. Stock head can see 7k rpms. I played it a little conservative and placed my redline at 6800rpms. However, my shift light engages at 6500rpms, so that's where I shift. I originally had the shift light and redline both at 6500rpms, and I was hitting the revlimiter before my brain reacted to the shift light. So, instead of having the shift light come on earlier, I left it where it was, and just upped the rpms so I'm not revlimiting it in every shift.

I don't see why the GReed Speed Cut wouldn't work with the FIC in conjunction. However, neither of the two will do anything for your RPM's. So, you are stuck with a stock redline until you get rid of the FIC for an Ultimate or Standalone EMS.

Went out to my first SCCA event today. I normally run with NASA. I was placed in the Novice class and lost by about .3 of a second to an eclipse spider with 60+ more horsepower than me. Personally, I don't see how that was a fair match up, considering that same guy comes to quite a few events, so he definitely isn't a novice. Just missed winning, dammit.

No pics because I never have anyone with me to take pics. I took pics of the first session though.

My toaster on the auto-x grid from this past Sunday. This was in between runs five and six. Sadly, no pics of me running.

Sidewall flex FTL!

I know! I need to find 15's with a much stronger sidewall, but that isn't such a hard compound.

Holy crap! How'd you get that down so low?

I've been stripping out unneeded stuff for a while now and I doubt that I'm even close to that weight!

Where'd you get it weighed too? I'd love to get an actual number to work with.

Recycling centers might be able to weigh a car. Or scrap yards.
