this was at Dixie National Autocross tour
no, I wasn't there, but a TC (who I don't know) was there - in STS even!

looks like the majority of STS cars were running Bridgestones

the RE-01Rs from Bridgestone are pretty freakin awesome. I have them and I don't see myself buy any other tires for a while. For 225/45/17 tires at $125 a pop is pretty damn hard to turn down.

they're too soft ,at 140 treadwear, for me.
The 140 Toyos even have a warning not to use them below freezing, or they could crack!
and, I don't believe they make a 24" overall diameter tire to keep my XA's speedo correct.
I put some very wide 225/50/15 200 treadwear Hankooks. I had to put spacers on the back to clear the inside. It looks great with the fenders filled though
Maybe, once I get better at Autocross, I can justify undersized tires, as the STS Civics are running 205 or 195 tires. The XA is already geared pretty low on the street...
by the way, it's not a racing pic, but here are my RPF1's with a little photoshop fun..

PlayingWithFire, when I saw your pics... I was worried for everything on that wonderful looking car. Man, if my car looked that good, I would change things back to stock just to race. I would be afraid to mess the beauty up.... Nice pics by everyone!
