WTF? If they are scared of breaking something, then they shouldn't be racing. That's sad.
The dude in the silver tC had drags, a bad clutch and added racing fuel he got 14.2
My and I was there that day he ran a 14.5 on streets tires, pump gas and he had a sucky butt clutch too. I think he was running 5 or 6 PSI back then.
I wasn't even sure if he was going to make it to the event because his car just got out of the shop a hour before the event started. he had to drive straight from the shop to the track.
The other guy with the turbo tC missed a gear that's why he got a low 15 and at that time he had the most powerful tC on the track that day. Oh yeah he had a stock clutch, pump gas and street tires too

Not being arrogant (or maybe I am), but if I missed a gear, I don't think I could still manage to run that slow, and that's back when I was on 8-9lbs. But yeah, I know what you mean about the sucky clutches.

That's our crew here in Nashville/Murfreesboro/Franklin, TN. We had about 4 or 5 tC's out that day. I unfortunately was driving my 350z, so I was the odd man out, but we had a blast driving on the speedway.

oh are you talking NASA classing? im "E", started out as "H" LOL i have a feeling that may change as last auto-x I did I got 3rd over-all, and the ones before that I got 7th over-all and 6th.... out of about 50 cars the xA is a bad-azz platform for auto-x but lacks on the roadcoarse as far as power.

oh ok. Not sure what scca class i would fall under, probably street mod. I havent attended an scca auto-x, I heard you only get 3 passes. NASA classing is based on time trial classing (road coarse) so I think that is why my car fairs well in the NASA auto-x's. NASA is now talking about doing a seperate classing system for auto-x just because of a situation like that. I love NASA auto-x's because you get 6-10 passes

We got about 5 or so passes on a full track. They laced the track with cones to make it no so open, but we did get a good set of runs in. I reckon it depends on the number of entrants.

Holy thread revival. Let's celebrate!
Here's me trying to recover from a near-spin... loose coming out of a long left sweeper. Corrected and got loose to the right and finally straightened it out. Somehow, someone managed to get pics of the whole thing...
Can't wait for this season!

yea ive looked at that, so now being as that im supercharged im automaticall in street modified?
i may be reading it wrong but street prepared only allows cars that come from the factory with fi?
am i reading that right?
and is there a list of all modifications allowed in that class before i go beyond and end up in an even higher class?
