Only mods are, Injen CAI and HKS Axle Back. My R/T and 60' could use a little work, with those in line I think I could manage a 9.7-9.8 easily. My MPH seem to support room for improvment in ET.

Im tC #1077 in the left lane.

I finally hit the track last night. Had some problems getting a good launch. The slip below was my best E/T of the night. It was VERY hot and humid all night so the times weren't the best. I think I could trim another few tenths off with more practice on the launches. Reaction time needs work too.

By the way, this is with a stock RS1 with nothing done to it (other than painted calipers and mudguards )

Yesterday I hit a 15.868 on my stock tC at the track.

Reaction= .625
60'= 2.440
1/8= 10.26
MPH= 69.915

1/4=15.868
It didn't give me the MPH on the darn timeslip. My reaction time was horrible and I feel I can improve on my 60' stock. But I will have my intake in by next week so oh well. I wanted to try and hit a 15.6 stock.. lol. This was my first run and first time at the track as well. I can post a really crappy quality pic of the timeslip but I am trying to get a scan first. If you want the crappy pic just tell me haha

Slip would be good as the topic states it's required. But no rush it took me a couple weeks after i posted to get my slip scaned/posted.

^ Your 60' times are pretty good, but you do need some work. The tC is a 15second car stock, around a 15.6 I believe.

I'm trying... this was only my 2nd time out to the track... ever. The first time ( a month ago) I got one run in.

I was messing around with launching today, hence the 60' times being pretty random.

And given the heat and humidity in Tampa, I'm not so sure a 15.6 will be easy to come by. I'll probably be trying again Thursday though

Maybe that should be another thing listed when you post your times. Elevation/Humidity...??? They do seem to play a big factor in people's times.

Perhaps, but I couldn't find anyone who know how to tell at the track last night (at least humidity). It is Florida though, so it's low elevation and high humidity.

Got in about 13 runs, I wont bother posting all of them. Still not into the 15's. best time was 16.012 @ 85.52 w/a 2.298 60'.

I'll post some of the times in a bit. I had two awesome r/t's last night

Me to. He has a 10th second faster than me 60 foot time, but I have 8 MPH on the trap speed but only beet him by .15 in the quarter. I must have horrible traction.

His trap speed looks normal to me.. I would of had a very similar time if I could of launched better..

I hit a 9.88 with a 2.3x 60', that's on stock tires with no stiffy.. If I hit a 2.1x 60' now (with the stiffy and new tires) I would be hitting 9.6's also.

I also only had header & intake at the time, I now have the s-pipe as well.

I will post the time slip when I get to a scanner. That same night I had my best 3 runs. It was 83 degrees out when I ran a 15.3, then a 15.2. which was my best out of 5 consecutive runs. My slowest for the night was 15.4 and that was because of missing gears. Then the track was packed so I had a nice 1 hour cool down as well as the air temp started to dip until my next run. which was a 15.1. Another hour passed the air temp was now 72 degrees and on my final run I ran the 15.0. If I had stayed for one more run the air temp would've been in the 60's and the way my car was responding I shouldve been 14.9's.

The reason my MPH is not that high is because I am racing on 18' wheels and for traction I am dropping tire pressure 22-20 lbs. The tC does not have enough top end in 4th grear to pull higher MPH on 18's. Although they are lighter than the stock 17's the stock wheels and tires suck major ___.

Everything was perfect on the 15.0 launch. I was able to heat up both tires instead of the typical left side one legger on previous attempts. I am usually at a .1 reaction time however i compensated and took my time and feathered the clutch off the line at 2500 rpm. It hooked right away and I prayed like hell that I wouldnt miss shift because my short throw shifter is really sloppy. I am replacing that ASAP.

I am going to the track to try and pull 14.9 tonight if not I have to do the full exhaust and some weight reduction like carbon fiber hood and such. There is another scion that ran 14.9 with same set up as me but he had the s-pipe and pipe work done.

If ATCO is your local come on out and race or spectate, I am trying to get a group thing going.

Do the full exhaust, but if you're interested in performance then don't waste your money on a carbon fiber hood. It saves you 11lbs, which is barely anything. You won't even notice a difference in the quarter mile.

What kind of short shifter do you have?

I have Scion Fx it was $89. I am so ____ed because I ran a 2.0 60 ft last night and missed 3rd that wouldve been a 14.9 or 14.8 pass.
