ARE THERE ANY XBs DOING THIS?

Haven't seen an xB do it, but the tC debuted in Long Beach at Formula D.

Damn, you slipping man, you should have know about this...
According to the article, the build was difficult due to having to abide by the FD rules (i.e. no dash alterations, and no cutting of the Firewall). But the way the article was talking, they were saying it would have been a lot easier and simpler to do if they were allowed to cut the firewall a little and just turn the already 2az longitudinal and run it that way. But they couldn't cut the firewall, so they had to do a motor swap.

The cost to convert the production line in order to make rwd Scions is a bit of a problem, which is a bit of information I got back from my boy Brian after he went to the Detroit Auto show to meet with Corporate Scion.

LOL, i no a bit about assembly line production and such smoke.
i'm just saying scion or RSR finially builds the car i really want my tc to be, and it is just for formula D. they shoulda make it like that from the start (atlease RWD)
hopefully the TC replacement will more along those lines.

Yeah, rumors are floating around about the next Ae86.

yeah, toyota was created by scion, if scion does well, it does well for toyota, period. they should notice that a large portion of their demographic want a rear wheel drive sports platform. they shouldn't be all political and say scion can't have better cars than toyota. it would just be shooting themselves in the foot.
look at the scion xd compared to the toyota yaris. the xd is built on the same platform, but has better engine, more options and is just better value in for the money in my opinion.
