still doesnt change the fact that he hasnt responded to any of my emails or calls. I sent back my gauges like 3 weeks ago and havent gotten anything. if he emailed the other guy last night then why hasnt he responded to me at all....not cool to ignore a customer for so long. im sorry but he deserves this publicity because this obv isnt the first time hes done this. people deserve to know, especially when youre dropping hundreds of dollars on this stuff

Anyone can make mistakes, so that is not the issue being debated. I have had three out of all the ones I have done that have had some minor issues. Thier return shipping was paid by me, the issue was fixed in one day and they recieved a full or partial refund by me (depending on the situation) to make up for thier troubles. Issues occur, that is given, but how they are handled is what separates a good business from the rest. So hopefully all of this gets dealt with quickly.

Also that is for 06 models only...... I do not have an 07 spare hvac yet.. still looking for one. There would be a deposite involved but if it helps ya, I am happy to work it out.
wow, really good man.
sorry to hear about this problem, you should have searched to see if any locals around your area. i do locals in my area but dont like dealing with having to ship.
i wouldnt want to risk somthing being broke so i mainly stick to doing local LED work.
hope you get you stuff soon.

first we tried contacting him (we got a hold of him)next he told us he had shipped it already (no tracking number provided)so then we threatend to go to his house and beat him down (it showed up 2 days later.he responds to abuse.i would just take him to court and not stress about it

I will start looking hot and heavy for you around the yards to see if I can find a totaled 07 I can nab an hvac off of. The gauge clusters are no issue, I have them for all years in auto and manual now... But you would have to get your milage re-programmed into your car and no idea what that would cost. I would ask josh to look into it at www.trdsparks.com seems like this will be the only way if he is not responding.

i've looked into it a little myself and seems there's no way except to order a completely new already programmed cluster from the factory.

don't know what you can do as far as reprogramming a current one, because of legal technicalities or if they'll allow you to mail it into the factory to have it programmed...

but even such, abit of paperwork is needed in obtaining that new cluster... much less thinking about reprogramming one.

Yeah that seems like it would be correct. I know you can program the ecm with any info you want at the dealer... but a GC is another story. That is why us swappers bear a HUGE responsibility to do thing right the first time. We screw up and a months profits are gone.

How many miles on your tc man..? I may have a cluster that is darn close. I have 4 here with me right now and 2 more on the way.

I really was trying to hope for the best for him on this one, but it seems it has gone too far to assume the best. Not to mention this is the second time on here we have heard this.

I believe a new cluster will run you a little over $300, but that could be off. And as Squall said, I am not sure if you can have a used one re-programmed. But you can call your local dealer to have them check on it.

I too will keep an eye out for an HVAC. I do know there are some 07 HVAC units on car-part.com for around $75 - $100 though. If it comes to that, I would be more than happy to get you one and change the colors for the cost of the parts and shipping only, just to help you out a little since you will already be out of pocket for the whole deal to start with. If you never end up getting your stuff back, I am sure between jeremy, trung and myself we can get you set back up as cheap as possible.
