well thanks for nothing Ecko, Hope other people have better luck with you then i did. I callen the truce. I don't feel like it right but theres nothing left to do but vent and nag and i did both enough. UPS BLOWS

 

basically i dont see how you can complain and put a bad review up for him. i mean he shipped it and payed for insurance out of his pocket because you didnt want it. he didnt package but was professionally done by ups. and then he turns around and files the claim and appeals it. how is this his fault?. i see it as he did what he was suppose to do and some extra. i mean most people wouldnt even go that far if they were trying to scam you. you should really rethink bashing him. i mean your claim needs to be with ups not him. i mean that sucks what happened to you. but ups shoul dbe the one fixing it. i would go after them before i went after him.

 

I have to side with the seller on this one:

He did everything possible to help, and even got insurance when it was not even requested (which he didn't have to do).

Large items shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS is a gamble. If you get insurance and they can verify its their fault then they cover it. However if they can not, and they can see proof that it happened after it left their hands, its not their fault.

I have heard from people dealing with ecko04 and not having any issues, or if there were any minor ones, he resolved.

It is not ecko04's fault, so you should stop blaming him, its UPS' fault. I hope this gets resolved soon.

if he paid for insurance he should get teh check and refund u the amount YOU paid... seems to me like ur trying to get more money out of it..

 

Oh yeah - thought everybody knew. "SoCal Shara" isn't a female, isn't named Shara, and isn't in So Cal. Yet, he has the nerve to question somebody else's credibility.

 

Just an FYI to everyone... if you are previously banned from this site... ANY AND EVERY ID you create afterwards will also be banned. Shara has been speculated to be a previously banned person ever since "she" appeared on the forums. I just looked a bit further and "she's" now gone.

Ecko: honestly, I hope this UPS thing works out OK one way or another.

 

yea there isnt any reason for 2 threads. he even stated if he got the refund for it he would pay you back only if he got a check from ups. other then that he has done what he can.

Ya, I also went back through Shara's posts and found one of "her" wheels... that she tried to claim she found on CSTC but were linked from "her" photobucket account. They happened to look a awful lot like Karbons... that was the proof I was looking for. The IL thing got it started.

There was a HUGE thread on it a while back when "she" joined. But it was too early to really say exactly - even though most of us knew it.

I don't recall exactly the reason for the ban, but this wasn't his only other account. He actually signed up for another one a while ago and even was dumb enough to admit he was previously banned. So that account got banned too. I have no doubt he'll get back in one way or another and lay low for a while... but we'll find out. And then he'll be gone again.
