Post Your Viniati Experiences
I know most have you who have dealt with Viniati and have had some bad outcomes and have posted your own threads already.
I know it's a lot to read, but please read and post your bad experience, If i can get a lot of responses about them then maybe something can finally be done about their bad business handling.
However I too have had some bad experiences since approximately Dec. 21st 2006 till today. I ordered a Buddy club 2 front bumper and was going to order the Kaminari hood. When I first contacted Viniati about ordering, James from Viniati was handling my order. Used a credit card, ordered my stuff and thought it was ok. Couple weeks pass Call them up no answer, I can’t get a hold of them. I contact Viniati here on Scion Life, and let him know what’s happening; I get a hold of Chris. He doesn’t reply to my pm. Next day, call up Viniati got a hold of Chris and told him what was going on. James did all the transaction but didn’t submit the order is what I was told, also was told he was fired and no longer had worked there , and that I would still get the parts I ordered due to James' screwing up. Told Chris I didn’t want to buy the hood, that I found it somewhere else that had it in stock. So I had them take it off the Order form. Little while later credit card bill comes, and I'm being charger for two (2) Buddy Club 2 bumpers and a hood. He didn't fix the mistake that James had made from the first attempt of ordering. So of course call him up and try to get the situation in control. Chris said he would mark the hood and one of the bumpers off the form and reimburse me for the items charged. Time still passes by no bumper yet shipment is coming in from China "late". By this time my hood arrives from the other company I ordered from, and I'm just waiting for my bumper.
Mind you this is in 4 MONTHS TIME, that’s how patient I am. So I finally get my bumper and I am excited, arrived at the body shop and finally car was going to be worked on. Body shop calls that there are issues with the bumper. So I arrive at the shop, the hood fit fantastic! However the Buddy Club 2 front didn’t. Mounting points were off, Driver side wouldn't line up, and was short, and headlights wouldn't even fit with the bumper on. No matter what the shop did to make it fit, the kit wouldn’t budge.
And I was to the point that I said I would just have it put on because of how long I waited for it. Shop guy who does excellent work for many years and is a professional said my car would look like crap. So I call Chris, he laughs ands says my shop guy doesn’t know what he's talking about and it will fit. I send him pics and he laughs saying its minor adjustments. But when I first asked him how it would fit when I would get it he said perfect fitment.
After playing phone tag with him and trying to get my shop guy to talk to him, my shop guy tells him it's just not going to work, that the material is crappy. Get this the bumper didn’t even come from Viniati, Chris said when the crate came to the port, it got sent to Pennsylvania, and that he was going to fly there to ship it from there to me.
But he didn’t do so, he got one from Extreme Dimensions. So now there is talk about refunding my money since I need a bumper, and this one just wouldn't work. Chris says since its Extreme Dimensions stuff I'd have to call them up. They said they have a no return policy. So call up Chris again and try to get this worked out, threaten him that I would discredit his name and company here on Scion Life. Also that the Better Business Burial would be called and he would be reported.
Mind you he only answers emails, pm's and phone calls when he wants. So finally I am able to ship the bumper back and get refunded my money, but at my expense. So bumper is sent out, waiting for the account to be credited and nada is happening. My mother calls Chris today; he says that I'm only going to get $60 back for a $340 bumper, because
1. The bumper has been sold to someone else
2. The cost it took to ship
The thing is they didn’t lose any money because Chris told my mom some one else already bought it, so they ripped me off, made a good profit and that’s called “GREAT BUSINESS”?

Mine is better in the sense that I got my product but it took almost as bad.... I had bought a CF hood for my tC.
Ordered: 3/23/07 (according to their invoice)
Received: 4/27/07
and as a side note i had to bug them to get the invoice as well as i had to threaten to have my bank stop payment to get even a tracking number (which didnt work)
im happy i got my hood, and it seemed to be in decent condition.... havent fully inspected, but i dont like to have to "nag" a company for info that i should already have without asking...

thanks for putting my thread in here i now face another problem cant even get my body shop to get my car in so im gonna have to get my body kit back from them and try to see how it will fit and then take it somewhere else and get it put on and painted i have no ____ing luck what so ever if this ____ doesnt fit im gonna have their business liscense revoked and file a report with the bbb

Well like others have said, if the products arent yours you should not sell them from other companies, the only way i found out it was an extreme dimensions product, is when it arrived at the body shop.
if the bumper truly fit i would have it on my car at this moment and i will not put crap on my car, and others wouldnt do so aswell. im not the only one that has complained about the shoddy products you send out. you claim that viniati products are great, but you send out from other companies.
it just cant just beme or others that are having problems with your company, if there are problems, its within in the company.
and the first rule of business, the customer is always right.

look at my car... its not a joke... its a full on show car with sponsors and weight behind it... send me somthing that works fits and looks good... with the Viniati tag and i will rep for it if it fits well...
or give me my money back ... either way.... your bumpers are siting in my garage....

what i dont understand is, ok i waited the mass amount of time i did for the bumper, it came, it DID NOT fit, so why cant i return and get a refund.
just like retail stores, you buy a pair of jeans, they dont fit, you can return them for money back or a perfect fitting pair

viniati, you didnt use your own parts and you failed to tell the customer about it prior to shipping to him. it is your responsibility to get HIS PERMISSION to ship a part that he DIDNT order. he ordered the part from YOUR company, not EXTREME DIMENSIONS. therefore its NOT what he ordered. eat the shipping charge and give him 190 back. not only do you take the 150 he originally paid for shipping, you then charge him ANOTHER 150 cause you guys sent the WRONG product. if it was the RIGHT product, it would have had YOUR name on it.
ANSWER THIS QUESTION VINIATI. DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE? ARE YOU A CUSTOMER ORIENTED COMPANY? or DO YOU NOT GIVE A RATS @SS ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS?
what you've just stated basically shows how little you care about your customers. imagine what a company like elemental designs would do in a case like this. they'd refund him 340, then pay the 150 to ship it back themselves. it is YOUR fault viniati. stop jerking your customer around.
jon, get your lawyer in action. this is the biggest load of bull$hit ive seen in a while. viniati couldnt care less about you. they're just like tCtunerz. damn bunch of liars. sue em for all their worth and put em out of business. its too bad the products that they've designed themselves all make the tC look like complete crap. maybe thats why they have to steal money from other people...to make up for the costs they couldnt cover from a product that looks like $hit and is $hit.

yes a refund would be ok, but not 60 bucks, you had no problem taking the money out of the credit card for the order, but you cant give me a full refund, for the part time wasted and the hassel.
