So I went to install my VRD fog light kit today...all is well, starting on the passenger side, till I notice the light doesnt fit. At all. Turns out I Recieved TWO LEFT bulbs. WTF!!!!!!!!

Just makes me mad since these next few days are all i have to install this kit.

How is there customer service? Are they going to do the right thing and ship me a right bulb next/2day on monday?

I have already sent an e-mail, and no one answered the phones but it is Sat.

Well, I FINALLY Received the other headlight. Over one month later. Honestly the only reason I haven't demanded a refund is the guy was decent on the phone and apologetic. and paid shipping.

However, Overall, I must say don't buy from VRD...I hate to say that about a company that most people have given such a good rep, but ____ there were several times this winter fog lights would have been REALLY handy...

 

woah that's a first I ever heard anything wrong from VRD. did u get the Actual VRDs from vertex or the APT/VRD ones from ebay? how much did u pay btw?

did you receive the wrong light BULBS? or wrong units (as in 2 left/right units)?

Ha ha! Sorry, to hear that but it's kinda funny. I know I'd be pretty upset too. Hope they make it right and quickly.

 

if they gave me two left bulbs... i'd put one in the left assembly.. and then put the other in the right assembly..

bulbs aren't really side specific..

Its the ones from VRD. i think $122 ish. Its there cheaper "new" design i think. Looks pretty sweet IMO.

Its two of the same assembly not the bulbs. Was so mad i didn't say it right.

My experiences with VRD have been less than stellar but APT is awesome. When my fog started leaking APT sent out a replacement for the cost of shipping. Then a few months later it happened to the other side, APT replaced it for free. I received the replacement and it was for the wrong side, APT sent out the correct side for free so now I have a spare of one side. What I learned was to seal them again with silicone before installing them.

When I bought my originals from VRD and they were leaking upon arrival it wad impossible to etc in contact with VRD.

 

im still tossed between if i like these fogs or not i keep looking at them and wanting them on one hand and the other not whats different about the new design
