Default TheModCity experience... not so good at all =[

i am very dissatisfied with Daniel at themodcity!

i had ordered a underglow neon kit from him, and halo projector headlights in September of 2006, when the neon came, one of the 48" tubes was cracked. i told him, and he said he would take care of it. he told me how sorry he was and fed me a bunch of lines. i was told that i would recieve my money back and get a new tube. i was extreamly happy then how he was treating me. well, time had gone on and still no light... when asked about this he said that he was still working on all of this.

more time had past, and still nothing. I talked to him again, and then he said i would only get the tube, no money or anything. after argueing for quite some time i finally gave up and told him just to at least send me what i had purchased.

no not caring about the $ or anything, i would still just like to have my 48" tube so i can have a full set of neon, WHICH I PAYED FOR!!!!

i get told probably about once a week that its being worked on....

i would encourage you all to think 2 times if u ever want to buy something from him.

Daniel, please just send me my neon tube. i am tired of waiting a half a year for a neon tube that i purchased

You know. I'm having that same problem with him. He said he was going to give me the money back and my 36 inch tubes. that was months ago. He keep saying he is working on it. I'm been to busy at work but when I have free I will contact him and he will give me the run around. I know someone else that is having the same problem.

i think all the tubes which he shipped out to us. There are some Neon tubes are broken, and he mixed them in some neon kit. That's y when he try to put the claim with FEDEX company and they won't accept with the way he put the claim. the 2nd reason is the neon kit's box look so old and it's torned of both side.

sorry im just writing back now, but i have finally got to a computer again. im in the military now. so it makes this a whole lot easier if ya know what i mean. he still has not done crap!!!! i have tryed getting in contact with him sevral times and he will not even respond to me at all... i had some guy say he is his partner, and all this B.S. and that Daniel would contact me within the hour. and still nothing..

Does anybody know if i could even take this to a small claims court. i think i should. and its not even the tubes anymore, because i had to go buy a whole new set, being that he straight up sold me broken tubes then lied to me. its the principle behind it all.. he is the most dishonest seller i have ever delt with... daniel. i hope you are reading this... contact me ASAP!!!!

btw. my box was all torn up and everything as well

If you guys are tired of the run around, report him to the BBB. If enough of you complain to the BBB they will investigate.

probably not. I think he screwed people and left. People also have been having problems with his warranty on the halo projector headlight fogging and burning out. The headlight's cutoff line is horrible.

Default broken neons

id sue him.if there's enough of you you might be able 2 get class action status with federal court.since he conducts business across state lines.it's a clear case of fraud!!

yea I bought it from him. He is the nicest guy when you are in the process of buying. But once you have a question about his product. He has no freakin clue.

i was wondering about a law suit. it seems like the only thing to get his attention. and datboisnt, you are 100% correct. when buying his product he is the nicest and best salesman you could ask for, but the very second there is a problem, he changes to the exact opposite.
