Default Is this true?

I ordered my tC a few weeks ago. Pretty barebones I guues. I wanted the ground effects kit, the strut bar and the CAI.
The business manager tells me that since i'm getting the car financed, I cant get the CAI...? They wont finance the CAI? whats with that?
Can someone explain this to me?

Yeah they don't finance the CAI, And I quote "AEM CAI Systems....may not be financed together with the new vehicle" It said some other stuff in between, get the brochure (Summer/Fall 04 is the one I have). But really you get ripped off if you get the strut bar and the CAI financed anyway cause of the interest. Save up and ge that stuff later, you'll appreciate it more too.

This is true, although there are ways around it. The reason that it can not be financed is that it can be part of the original contract. Even if you were paying cash for the vehicle we could not put CAI on the paperwork. This is because we can not legaly add anything to the vehicle that changes the gas milage that is on the sticker when you buy the car. We can sell you the CAI, but the EPA won't let us put it on the contract.

There are ways around it, but I don't think the supercharger is going to change the gas milage. I don't know a whole lot about superchargers, but one of the guys in our parts dept. was saying that the s/c for the Tacoma doesn't effect the milage.
