Default XRTeam on eBay --- AVOID!!!

This is about a seller that goes by the name of XRTeam on eBay out of Little Rock Arkansas.

I rececntly purchased some "matrix" style rear taillights from this seller.

I received the item and it was damaged.

While FedEx does deserve most of the blame of the mistreatment of my packaging, this seller put ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORT in packing this item.

Packaging literally was a box with each light in a bag and 2 tiny styrofoam rectangles on only on corner of the lights (the broken corner had no packing materials whatsoever).

The kicker is I had to pay $30 for shipping from Arkansas on a 3 pound package. I further researched the TRUE shipping cost from FedEx from Arkansas to Texas, it came out to be close to $8...thats a $22 overcharge. The sad thing is insruace would have only been $4 more.

Of course this XRTeam hides behind the "well you didn't buy insurance" excuse, but for the amount of shipping overcharge I'd expect some bubblewrap or packing peanuts or something. So I've had to file claims through FedEx (still waiting for results).

So my advice to all of you, pay a little more for the insurance AND take your business to a more responsible seller.

Regards,
- Matt Moore

doesnt fedex include at least $100 worth of insurance on packages? and you can purchase more if you want. anyway, i've noticed a lot of ebayers over charge the shipping rate. that way they make it look like there item is cheap, but actually your paying for some of it from the shipping.

Regardless of what they truly charge for shipping, a seller ALWAYS has a duty to a buyer (especially a return buyer) to atleast ATTEMPT to make an effor at packing an item of this type (as breakage is a foreseeable event with lights and lenses).

I'd think most people are wise to the whole small price/huge shipping charge scheme by now, especially Scion owners.

It's funny, now they want me to agree to remove the negative feedback I left on eBay with no attempt to refund my money or send me unbroken items.

This company is unbelievably bad.
