Just to let you guys know, I drove from San Diego to San Jose not realizing the ballast came off it's mounting bracket. The ballast was found (after an 8 hour drive) in front of my car under my RS1 front lip that is about 4" off the ground. There were many unpaved parts of the road (bumps big enough to make your sunroof covers open) and the ballast took the beating. The sticker on the ballast was ~70% ripped off and the casing itself was beaten to hell and back.
In the end, I just mounted it again and the HIDs still worked like nothing ever happened! I wish I took pictures to prove this. But the ballast is mounted behind the front bumper now.
I just wanted to let everyone know that this product amazed me that it withstood this beating.

I'm sorry man, I just got my green car finished (sort of) and I went on like a 5 hour cruise going no where. I left my cell phone at the house and just drove. Car looks good when its not on jack stands
