Not a complain or anything, but I ran into a little bit of trouble today while installing my Single Xenon 9006 6000k HIDs for my Scion tC.

When trying to put the HID bulb into the socket, it wouldn't stay tightly put in place. The reason is because the specification on the HID bulb's rubber gasket (The small round thing that goes around the bulb, which can be removed) was different from the ones in my OEM lightbulb and therefore it wouldn't stay securely in the headlight.

I had to switch the one I had on my OEM lightbulb to the HID lightbulb in order for it fit securely and tightly.

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem, because I would imagine all 9006 tC lightbulb would be the same, and had done the same to make these HID bulb tight and secure.

Why isnt it a direct fit?

I just have one thing to say. When I installed the HIDs today, the HID bulb wouldn't stay tight in the lightbulb socket. You have to transfer the little round rubber gasket from the OEM bulb to the HID one in order for it to fit. Dont know if other TC owner had that problem or not.

Just mentioning it, incase you guys wanna know. Thank.
Hey there, we just checked out the rest of our 9006 stock and just put them into a socket to see if they would fit and they did with no problem. It appears you got an odd ball one when manufactured they put on the wrong o-ring on, more than likely an H11 o-ring as those are bigger than the 9006 ones. In any case, sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused you.

hey operatic i had a question. i bought my 6000K HID kit from you some months ago and my right headlight is starting to act up. i would turn on my headlights and the right bulb would be such a dark blue it would barely give out any light while the left one shined brilliantly. and soemtimes when i turn on my car then bulb just goes out. does this mean i need to replace my bubls. i just started having this problem a few days ago and i thoguht that the bulbs would last longer then this but what i don't understand why it turns on when it wants to... any help please!

Not yet, I'll hit you up when they arrive. I also built that special adapter harness for ya, it looks pretty good in my opinion.
