I normally just leave them on with my stock lights, but would that greatly shorten the life span of these HID's? Im thinking that only using them at night would be a better idea...but its sort of a pain to have to turn them on and off

Also, due to Hurricane Ike, UPS didn't open Friday and probably won't open Saturday. Things should be fully operational Monday, and orders will be taken care of accordingly. We're located some 30 miles inland and the most we're expecting is wet roads. If anyone needs us, we'll be available by phone or you can look for the idiots towing an inflated inner tube behind an ATV plowing down in the middle of the road.

my HIDs just went out
(NOT PURCHASED FROM YOU!!!)
got them from a friend and I want to just buy some new ones.
however i dont know much about the lights.
so....
I need low beams for a 2007 tC. I would like 10000k.
I think that would be the 9006 HID Kit , right?
When I goto buy it asks for either 35w or 50w or Slim.
Im not sure which one i need.
and i dont know what harness either. Whats the differences?
Will buy as soon as i understand what these things are lol

-50w ballast are brighter than 35w ballast
-50w ballast drop a bulbs kevlin color by 1000k. So an 8000k bulb will look like a 7000k bulb with 50w ballast.
-50w ballast make the price go up by $15
-50w ballast last just as long as 35w ballast and does not shorten the life of any of the components.
Also just get Relay Harness set up.

Thanks, thought I was going to be left hanging with the storm and all this weekend. Got them Thursday. Got to test them and man, high is effing bright, like that of a q beam spot light. Low gives a white blanket in front of the car like using a white color street light in your head lights.
Relay kit works well with the fogs from another vendor. No more popping fuses.
Now, where the heck do xa owners mount the ballasts and the relay harness? My fogs came with mini ballasts and I put those in the yokes where the bumper mounts and zipedand electrical taped the wires up.
I was thinking about that bar infront of the radiator, the fire wall right below the windshield or behind the radiator facing the engine.

These are effing bright. They light up all reflective signs, etc long before I get up to them. They make silver star ultra look like flashlights and the oem bulbs like candles.
I will see if I can post some photos or a video out here in teh country where its effing dark out.

Everyone that ordered over the weekend we are trying to get your order out. People are telling us there are UPS stores and hubs open in the Houston area, if you know of one that is open and sending out packages, let us know!

I pulled up to a co workers lexus last night. Their hids were the same color as mines, but no where near as bright. Is your low the same as most oems or brighter? This person also appeared to have regular lamps, not projectors. Boy these light up anything reflective.

We've noticed that they usually seem brighter than most OEM HID set ups.
Also! on a side note, because of hurricane Ike we've been slowed down in the shipping process. We are unable to find an open UPS Store or Hub in the Houston area. As soon as we are able to find one all orders will be going out. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone. Also we are trying to answer e-mails, PM's and phone calls the best we can at this moment, so please bare with us.

Actually he noticed my lights the other night as to why he came up to me since we get off at the same shift.
You want a laugh? There is an suv manufacture out there who offers hid lights, I think its the nissan murono or something and man, their hids look like flashlights cause the beam is so narrow and useless.
So far I have yet to get flashed or have the cops where i work or live pull me over or say anything and I take to them on a daily bases to see whats going on.
Although high is even brighter and better, I kind of like low beam. Its enough corona to light up anything reflective in front of you and the street in front of your car.
