got them from a friend and I want to just buy some new ones.
however i dont know much about the lights.
so....
I need low beams for a 2007 tC. I would like 10000k.
I think that would be the 9006 HID Kit , right?
When I goto buy it asks for either 35w or 50w or Slim.
Im not sure which one i need.
and i dont know what harness either. Whats the differences?
Will buy as soon as i understand what these things are lol
As long as you have OEM headlamps you do in fact need a 9006 HID kit. Also for the 35w vs 50w the differences go as follows:
-50w ballast are brighter than 35w ballast
-50w ballast drop a bulbs kevlin color by 1000k. So an 8000k bulb will look like a 7000k bulb with 50w ballast.
-50w ballast make the price go up by $15
-50w ballast last just as long as 35w ballast and does not shorten the life of any of the components.

Also just get Relay Harness set up.
is the slim ballast 35w or 50w?

Dude, you're driving around parts of VA that look like the beginning to a horror movie

Its near where mike vick use to live in Surry, VA. Very rural area, plenty of bugs and farm animals. I am my parents taxi, so after work 10 pm I will drive 58 miles to their place, spend the night, take them to Richmond or where ever the appointment is, bring them back to their house, then I drive back to Richmond to work. Yup, half a tank of gas, upwards to 200 miles.

Whats amazing is that on the darkest of nights, its still light out rather its the moon, stars or surrounding lights. Lots of warehouses and commercial lighting in sandston, va and man, they make the night sky an orangish color.

Your lights work well. Seems they make green lights stay til you pass under them. I use to have lights turn yellow as I approach and I stop for yellow lights.
