Why does this kit have an extra power/ground wire. The wires the ballast get plugged into after removing the stock light/harness are power/ground...

its a relay so that your stock harness doesn't take all the power jolt from when the ballast and igniter start up initially.

There are only one set of power/ground wires. These are hooked directly into the battery. This is where all the power is being drawn from. On the relay harness, you only hook up a single headlight socket and all this does is activates a relay. Once the relay is activated, the ballasts draw power from the battery, not through headlight socket. The main idea being, that you're not spiking the car's factory wiring harness.

great kit just got mine installed...on the passenger side you can actually bolt it down with the smaller hole instead of zip tieing or taping it

That only proves Operatic is only human.

Replying to tons of emails and PMs, answering phone calls, processing orders, shipping the items, making sure he has the correct addresses; would pretty much result to a missed inquiry. Just remind him. He'd get back to you as soon as he can. :D

Again, bump for greatness!

i have something similiar and i bought mines a year ago for 220 shipped if i found these a year ago i would have got these instead. quick questions, i would like to get the HID fog lights, i currently do not have any fog lights on my tC, and is there a way to get rid of the lil triangle light marks on the left and right corners of the picture up there? i have the same issue. i was kinda assuming that by getting HID fog lights, it would cover that up? im looking for 8000k fog lights to match my HID headlights. LOL i was thinking about 8000k halos, but decided not to after i saw the do it yourself install, lol baking my baby's eyes dotn work out for me =/

Since it was my first time to install an HID kit it took me about 30-35 mins. Otherwise, the install was pretty easy I was just making sure everything I was doing was right. Didn't want to blow something out. Also, Im loving the kit.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY OPERATIC!!!
