Is this normal? Does anyone else see this with their HIDextra kits? With other brands?

im a valet driver, so obviously i drive a lot of cars and see a lot of headlights, lol. but in any car ive ever driven that have hids/projectors etc, there is almost always a very bright flash then light begins to "settle" if you will to the correct brightness.

Every single HID kit or Oem HID does that. That is how the HID bulbs are ignited. Once ignited and makes that bright flash, is stabilizes to its actual temperature.

HI,
If you are buying a headlight with HID bulbs, the kit should already come with ballast, HID will not light without ballast, so please double check if your bulbs are in deed HID and not halogen. Thanks~

The hardest part is finding a good spot to mount the ballasts, they come with brackets instead of the adhesive backing, I mounted mine to an open hole.
