^ After reading, I believe it was because they didn't use a relay harness.

Can someone provide me with an installation guide? I'm looking at the wiring and I am a bit confused. My first mod so don't flame me for my ignorance lol. I've searched and found threads, and every-time I go back to lay everything out, I have one of the wires from this kit left over. Am I doing something wrong?

I've got the ground and positive figured out, no brainer. I understand the long harness goes to the passenger ballast, and the short one goes to the driver ballast. Now, in the kit there are two red/black wires that I have come to understand that they connect to the stock OEM harnesses. Leaving the middle wire on the relay harness. Where does this plug go into? It doesn't fit EITHER OEM plugs so I'm lost. I don't want to ruin anything, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Currently we only carry 35W kits. We might stock some 55W kits soon.

That's true for older cars (approx. 15 years old) installing HID without relay. Also, for badly made ballasts.
Because the age of the car the electrical wiring are worn and old and upgrading to HID without relay could melt or fried the electrical wires.
Badly made ballasts can cause to draw above 14V power and results in melting wires.
We've tested our ballasts on all Scion models without an issue.

That is correct. Blue starts at 8k. I used to have a set. The ones u see on the road that are 100 percent white are 5-6k

i kind of wish you guys sold 4300K kits. we've been having some crazy rain/tornado storms in my area this past week. the rain came down so fast and flew at a horizontal angle that i couldnt see a thing with my 5000K hids. lol the only way i could keep straight was because my friend who was driving in front of me had 3000K fogs that lit up the road a lot better. we we're driving like 10 mph and could see about 10 ft in front of us.

other than that, HIDextra is selling a great product. a crap load of water got splashed around in my engine bay and my connections are all fine.

you are residing in cali so there's definitely a high chance of you getting pulled over for it.

We carry bulb temperature higher than 12K. We have 30K (deep blue/purple). That's only on special request and you are risking unwanted attentions from the PD. No increase in cost for 30K HIDs.

wow, HIDExtra, you guys are the best. I ordered a set thursday night, got it in my mailbox sunday morning. I looked at the package and wondered what the hell I had ordered a week ago becuase I didn't think it would get here so fast. All the wiring and waterproof seals felt sturdy and reliable. They looked amazing and it took less than fifteen minutes to install in my buddies car. Before I opened the package, I had no idea what I was doing, so that goes to show you how truly plug and play this kit really is. the 8000K is a beautiful color. I have nothing bad to say about this company, and I will DEFINITELY be ordering my own set within a couple days.
If you are looking for a set of HID's, and you go elsewhere, you are officially the stupidest person every.

Thanks HIDExtra!!!

I ordered a kit from you this past weekend. Should be getting here by tomorrow but I'm wondering if you have any mounting bracket for the ballast? I know it comes with 3M heavy duty double sided tape but, if you do, how much would you sell them for?

I ordered a kit on Monday, recieved it 2 days later. This guy is running a company the way it's suppose to. Very prompt. I bought a 12K kit for my 05 Tc. The install was a no brainer, so easy a caveman can do it. The only issue is the color of my 12K kit though. It looks more like an 8K then a 12K. I was using a 10K kit before buying this one. I wanted more blue in my light output. I'm going to send him a PM and see what he has to say.
