HIC Rear Roof Visors are customized for a 100% fitment guarantee for each individual model. The visor acts as a heat shield to help reduce interior temperature as well as the damaging effects of sunlight to a car's delicate interior. It is also a great aerodynamic addition which adds a touch of character to any car. Made from durable, tinted cast acrylic, it is easy to install using pre-attached industrial strength 3M tape, no tools or drilling required. Slightly pre-heating the adhesive before installing onto vehicle is recommended.

There was a GB on here awhile back with some customers that had problems, but you should be okay if you install it properly. You shouldn't need anything extra, just make sure the surface is clean and free of wax or oil. Especially since its winter, it is recommended to heat the adhesive area of the spoiler so that it can fully form and contact the vehicle with little to no gaps. With the supplied adhesive you should be fine.

^+1. We did not notice any problems when we tested our visor. Granted its only been a couple months, but we don't expect to have any problems with it.
