installed the panel today..fitment was little off but its good overall. Maybe I got the slightly defected one. The DME tie downs were definitely better then the nasty oem ones. The size is bigger and the finish is smooth. I hope the tie downs dont rust.

One bad thing that happen after I installed the panel was my hood does not close... I am really frustrated for I do not know what the problem is. At first I thought it might be the tie downs because they are bigger then the stock ones but when i removed them and tried to close the hood, still the hood would not close. Sad...I think the problem my be the latch but i dont know. Anyone have a problem with there latch?

That's strange to hear. There should be no problems with fitment or the latch. I have helped with the installation of this panel on several local cars, and we have shipped quite a few of these panels. No one has reported any problems.

Just a suggestion... maybe check your latch and the alignment. Hope it works out for you.

Thanks again, good luck and have fun with all your projects!

There is no new hardware included in the package. You use the existing hardware that is already on your car.

Try the installation and you'll see

My fitment was a bit off as well. I had trouble getting the left side bolt to go in because the piece was not flush for some reason...I got it on so no complaints from me, just figured I would state it as well...

I installed mine today and I've had the same fitment issues.

The latch wouldn't go down unless I twisted it sideways.

And the driver side radiator bracket thing was off.

It didn't line up so the screw wouldn't go in.

Other than the fitment issues I would say it's a great

piece and I'm happy with it.

A couple more pics from www.NonStopTuning.com ...

BEFORE ...

AFTER NonStopTuning Scion tC Radiator Panel Installation ...

There really should not be any fitment issues or problems if your car/bumper/brackets are all in the original location and have not been bent, twisted, or damaged. Unfortunately, we've heard from some of our customers that their cars have been in fender benders or minor accidents that may have moved their stock brackets or mounting holes. In such instances, customers may need to spend a few extra minutes to get their panels installed, though not much. Some members have had a little bit of trouble, and I'm sorry to hear that... the majority of the members seem to have had no issues of any kind, which is on par with our testing and what we've seen with our local cars here in Houston.

We have shipped quite a few of these panels and everyone seems to be pretty happy with their purchases and even happier with the snacks in their boxes!!!

Thanks again everyone, please keep the pics and reviews coming. We love seeing your cars in these pics!!!!

Perhaps you placed your order with us before we started shipping M&Ms?!
It's not personal, so you should not assume that it is.

Place an order for a Radiator Panel and you'll definitely receive a bag of M&Ms.
