question for you guys. i have a ____ty no name short shifter. even though it was cheap it was still awesome to me. but i want my shifter height to be lower, the one i currently have dropped it about 1/4-1/2 an inch. but ive been noticing more and more there is ALOT of play in the shifter when its in gear like i can move it around in gear not much but enough for me to notice, from what i read its normal with ____ty short shifters. well a good short shifter (like yours) change this?

Yes, a quality short shifter will make a difference since the diameters of the pivot ***** are accurate instead of "random" on a low quality short shifter.

You will also definitely want to look into our Cable Bushings and Base Bushings for your car:

http://www.twmperformance.com/bushin...ushing-kit.php

The shifter will make a difference, however the bushings will help a lot as well. The stock bushings are made of soft rubber that will wear out over time, therefore allowing unwanted play that will be directly transmited to the shifter. Replacing them with our solid metal bushings will make a world of difference and give a much more solid and precise shift feeling!

The rebate for the group buy will depend on how many people are signed in. The discount will apply to everything we sell for the tC! Short shifter, shift *****, shifter bushings and shift boots!
