In December 2019, my fiancé and our daughter (who was due in less than 3 weeks) passed away suddenly. After the courts came open, the family wanted me to have the car. She bought in Washington when she was married to her previous husband. It was her first car and the key to her freedom from him. I met her online after sharing Spongebob and Marvel memes. I was going through a divorce too. Left Florida and moved to Kentucky to be with her. Thought the xB was a little weird at first, but after driving it and seeing how much she loved it I was hooked. So in the last week I have upgraded the bulbs to LED, replaced the stock stereo, replaced the climate control bulbs, changed the air filter (possibly for the first time ever from the looks of it), added a DNA Motoring drop in filter (until I decide on upgrades), and have started cleaning up the engine. It's a manual transmission, so that's awesome. This car is really fun. And at 194xxx miles, I am interested in seeing what I can do to keep it going for another 200k.
