Default Is350 Drift Car

Check out our IS350 Drift car driven by Hiro Sumida.

There is specs and video on our motorsport website:
http://www.dtcdrifting.com/

I had a chance to see a Formula D drift even in NJ this year and I was pretty impressed. These cars are pushing some major power. If you get a chance go to a Formula D race, The pits are in the vendor area so you can get up and close to the cars and drivers, and there is plenty to see. This year should be bigger and better than last year, and with a year under his belt Hiro should do well in the IS350 in 2008.

does it still use the clutchless manual transmission, or did they do some sort of transmission swap?

I wasn't sure so I asked and was told it has a custom built 4-Speed Nascar transmission in it. Not quite stock I'd say.

I'm just getting into the Lexus IS. I was about to buy an E46 BMW Ci but found out that tear when drifting.

I don't know squat about Lexus. Are they all ok to drift or is there a certain model and year that I should get?

BTW, it will also be my daily.

Ours is far from stock so I couldn't tell you what would be best to drift. Maybe someone else can chime in???
