Default $10,000 Car Wash, seriously...

Check it out, there's even a video of his process:

If I were that rich, sure I'd pay him I guess. Seems to do a good job. Haha.

That's just too much. I know taking care of your car is important, I'm a bit **** myself, but some people just take it to new extremes. Like there's people who "save" their classic Corvettes or Mustangs to pass it down in the family, but IMO if car is not being driven and enjoyed from behind the wheel it's better off being crushed.

You're lookin' at about 16 pounds for two towels basically, which is a lot more expensive than towles I dry myself with.
That's funny.

The wax is from Zymol and you can get it at www.zymol.com. I had their Carbon wax and it was good. Worth every penny.
The one they use I believe is a lifetime refill.

seems like a good technique using your hands to wax the car..the only thing is it says that it dries like cement...now can u imagine how hard it would be to work that into the car?!!?!?!

Yea, this is a popular repost on a lot of detailing forums. Not worth it. The same results can be had for about $250.

Why can this guy charge that much? Because those people think its that much, quite simply put. Things are worth however much people think its worth.

Can a pro detailer from Autopia or autogeek do the same thing for about $300? Yea. But don't tell that to those exotics owners.

That's because of its very high carnauba content. Carnauba in its raw form is a rock hard natural wax. You wouldn't apply normal wax with your bare hands.

even though you can ^ i've taken souveran and put a pair of rubber glvoes on and gone at it.

once the wax ocvered teh glove, the rubber stopped grabbing the paint and it was really easy to wax. Used alot of wax compared to a traditional method, but hey.

It seems odd that he washes/dries it in the sun?
Seems 101 to me, but it's overall pretty impressive.
Not $10k impressive, but I bet that paint feels like a runway model's baby's butt!

True about the washing in the sun. Very odd I was always told to wash my car in the shade, but then again the stuff he uses is wayy better and it probably doesn't matter if the car is the shade or not????

That is crazy expensive but i guess anyone is willing to pay that much on a car that nice. If i owned a car like that and some guy told me he would wash it for a hundred bucks I would tell him to get lost even if it was the best wash I could ever get in my cars life.
