I just want a list of the people he sales his car washes to so I can sell them a 10,000 Dollar replica of their car. Hand made and detailed by the small hands of the people in the middle east!

Might work huh?

wow thats a nice wash and wax. he uses some nice products, but i still wouldn't do it in the sun. he probly has alot less waterspotting and all cuz of the proucts he uses, but it would still be better if it were in the shade...

Think about the whole washing/drying in the sun thing for a second....

After hes done washing and drying the car (in the sun) he basically goes through 8+ steps to get the car even cleaner, including going over every inch of the car with his bare hands and then using towels that go for 16pounds for two.

The wash is basically used to get large paricles off the car. If he can charge that much for a full detail and people are willing to pay he must be doing something right. Seriously...99.9% of the people on this board (me included) is a total noob when it comes to detailing a car. I think this guy would wash the car differently if the knew it would make a difference.

You also have to consider two things... 1) it's a bit easier to see large particles in the sunlight's reflection and 2) he's being filmed... so it might be for show.

10k huh... that's a lil steep if you ask me. He must throw away all his towels after one use =P Plus his supplies are pretty damn expensive. I'm willing to bet he does undercarriage work as well.

And remember... that wax lasts 6 months... need to get me his supplies =P

I'm suprised that he did not pull the wheels off and clean every nook and cranny in and around the wheels and wheel well. It would make the job so much easier. Washing the car outside in the sun is no problem, he probably has filtered water so it leaves no spots as he washes. I use filtered water to wash my box. Makes a difficult job so much easier.

he uses warm water also, and that brush he used to get in to every part of the wheel without removing it, he did the minor stuff outside in the sun, so he could see, and yes he used the sponge bottom up, which is a no no, because your taking the dirt particles(usually more) from the bottom to the top and scratching the car, even though he did the degreaser its still got the largest particles, he took it in to do the clay bar, and the buffing, he buffed (my guess) the entire car and did a scratch check with a magnifying glass, and did the paint guage, hes probably got 5k in just those two items, those gauges aren't cheap, the magnetic ones are over 300, then he waxed it, no telling what he did on the insides of these cars either

just about certain he's using 'soft water' looks like more of a paint reconditioning to me than just a wash n wax. as he mentioned the porsche owner came to him with a screwed paint job and he fixed it w/o respraying the car. i'd also be willing to bet that the subsequent cleanings are not as expensive as the first one. kind of an introduction to the 'system' if you will.

tons of money to us as we have $15-18k in the car to purchase but as he pointed out $20+++ to respray or $8-12 for a paint recondition.
