I use the Meguire's Tech Wax and it's awesome! It comes off super easy and gives an awesome shine.

there is no real season to go crazy and get a whole kit worth of stuff. you have a nearly brand new car. there is no reason to go crazy with one the 3 step programs that are out there. i belive the tech wax as mentioned is also a "cleaner wax" just go with that.

Actually, the Maguire's NXT is a regular wax, but they do have a car wash product that I use also that works good too.

Actually, the NXT wax does contain a small amount of cleaners, but not enough to be considered a cleaner-wax...I guess.

I've had my car for seven months now and it just got through its first Washington winter (read: rain, rain, cold cold rain). I went nuts with the detailing stuff a couple days ago. Meguair's is the way to go. I'm serious.

After washing and drying the car, I clayed it with their Quik Clay set (click). Oh man, imagine my surprise when I saw all the fallout/dust/dirt that accumulated on my hood from all that highway driving. Gross stuff.

I then hit it with a couple items from their Deep Crystal line, starting with their paint cleaner (click). Because I clayed the car first, I guess this was kinda unnecessary, but I had the whole day, so I figured this would pick up anything that I missed with the clay bar. I then moved onto the polish (click). This stuff went on and off like butter because of how smooth the surface already was. Guess it works real good for dark cars like mine. It got rid of quite a few paint swirls, which I was real happy to know because it got real cold in the winter and I could only settle for the local drive-through car wash.

I finally hit it with the NXT Tech Wax. This stuff is so great. It was real smooth going on, and it wiped off cleanly with little to no dust afterwards. I approve of a full-cleaning process with these products, but only when you've got a whole day dedicated to it. While really fun, it's also time-consuming. I plan to do the whole process again in June. With my first car, I made it a habit to polish/wax my car around the same time I got my oil changed. I'm trying to do that with this new tC. =D

I clayed mine the first week after I brought it home and couldn't believe how much crap was in the paint then. It's definitely worth doing.
I use Zaino Brothers myself. It cost a little more - but I feel it is worth it.
I use the Polish-lok followed by coats of Z-5 and Z-2. Avery nice shine and soooo smooth.

You have got to get some Stoner Invisible Glass to clean your windows. It is great stuff. I also got a Mother's California Gold Clay Bar set. It really does work. For a quick was I use the Mr Clean car wash system. It works because it takes the hardness out of the water. I didn't use it last time and had to clay the water spots off my hood. Good luck.
