Best WAX for Black Sand Pearl?

I do detailing as a somewhat side job for my friends/family and for my own car when I have time, and I use nothing but meguiars for paint care products.
Wash using Gold Glass, Clay Bar, #83/#80 Paint Cleaner/Polish, Scratch X if needed, Top of Deep Crystal Polish on top of #83/80 if I feel like it, and top it all with NXT 2.0 - All done via PC with LC Pads (white/orange/black).
Nothing but perfect results.

No problem with NXT lasting for me. It has lasted months before it stopped beading and such. Did you prep the finish properly before you applied it? Clay for example? Prepping the paint is the most important thing you can before applying wax for it to last.

yea man nx2 claybar sux when i got zainos claybar i had done my car like 3 weeks before with nx2 clay bar and pull up more stuff with zaino then nx2.zaino prep first time will take you like 6 hours man.my cars wax last all year not just months.

the best wax in the world doesn't do ____ without the proper paint correction
here is my car i did a couple of weekends ago
this was literally all over the car. To be frank (this is sad) - my 335i was one of the worse cars i've worked on. I just don't have time to dedicate to my car and this winter was horrible on it.

there is no wax on that car - i do use swissvax though, at 400-2500 / 8 oz its amazing

I mean honestly though, if you use ANY quality product you will get results just like that if you do it right. Good prep is critical to any car finish. The car should look like perfection before wax even touches it. Wax just adds that last step of depth and of course, protection.

i dunno, i'm not a fan of meguires at all.
detailing is an art yes but it requires quality products - not just anything will yield good results. It may look ok but the higher quality products will last longer and are easier to work with

Sorry to hear that, I have nothing but great experience using their products. Easy to work with, long work time, easy to remove and lasting results. No issue ever with any of the products. Higher quality is subjective... Higher price doesn't mean better product

i've never said that at all. i hope you realize that. in fact i think some of their products are overpriced for what you get. CG supplies a lot of LSP that is more competitive than the products from MG.
i said higher quality not more expensive. I will say that swissvax has the best array of products on the market. granted they're a bit pricey but their wheel wax and tire shine are hands down the best products for their applications. And i'm very very happy with their best of show wax and their leather treatments.
Its all about what you do with the products. I'd rather have a detailer that can detail a car very very well and use off the shelf products than have a detailer that can't do anything and use the most expensive stuff on the market.
Either way its all about what works for you. TO THE OP i just say try everything, use what you like and what you're happy with. take some recommendations but don't depend on them.
