I'm really not understanding why anyone would try a "larger" filter to being with. If the "larger" Toyota filter was best for our cars would Toyota of wasted money devloping a smaller filter? I highly doubt it.

Anyhow, here is the filters I ordered and will be using for my xB:



Left (come from factory) is JDM / Right is USDM

okay then the question to the toyota techs..

so are you saying that the yzza1 that my dealer put on my tC is incorrect? It's the same size as the factory 90915-10004 oil filter.. or should I just use the 10004? Is the dealer going to look at me strange and give me a hard time if i want to use the 10004? since i have three of them that I bought..

Those 2 filters are both correct for your car. Use either one. Your dealer probably stocks the YZZ filter and not the other though.~~~~~~~~~scott
